Dr. Ashley Hood

Meet the Doctor

Dr. Ashley Hood

Veterinarian/Owner

Dr. Ashley Hood was born in California and raised in Houston, Texas. She completed her Associate’s Degree in Biological Sciences and Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology with a minor in Biochemistry at Alexandria, VA Community College and Marymount University, respectively. After her undergraduate studies, she researched with an organization dedicated to monitoring and conserving endangered hawksbill sea turtles in Belize.

Dr. Hood attended Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!), where she graduated in 2015.  While there, she served as vice president of the school’s Omega Tau Sigma chapter, a professional veterinary fraternity. In addition to receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, she was awarded the Dr. Newton B. Tennille Scholarship for promoting fellowship and community.

Dr. Hood’s practice of veterinary medicine is infused with a passion that comes with fulfilling her lifelong dream. She has particular interests in minor animal soft tissue surgery and dentistry and develops genuine, understanding relationships with all her patients and clients. When she’s not providing compassionate care for your pet, Dr. Hood enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, three children, two dogs, and two cats.
